Ian Geary - Principal
The multi-talented Ian Geary began his professional business career at the Inland Revenue as a (heaven forbid) tax investigator after graduating with an Accounting & Management Systems Degree from the University of Waikato. During his time at the IRD he turned his skills toward becoming a Systems Analyst on projects involving online PAYE returns filing and as a Design Advisor for the IRD’s Internet and intranet sites.
But the lifestyle and weather in Hawkes Bay beckoned, and Ian began working for the legendary Webtex Systems in Hastings in 2004 as Internet Director and Office Manager where he specialised in website design and web hosting management as well as overseeing the company’s accounting & administration.
In 2005 Ian launched Total Office Management to use his vast skill-base including assisting businesses and individuals with their Accounting, Tax, I.T, Web Design, hosting and development – so the entire package is operated by one firm.
Ian is married with two children and likes to maximise his time in the sun by competing in sporting events and doing a spot fishing and camping.
